Jennifer Kilian is a design and innovation leader who helps healthcare organizations transform unmet clinical needs into impactful products, services, and new ventures. She combines human-centered design, clinical insight, AI, and business strategy to accelerate innovation from discovery through commercialization. She has helped create new ventures across industries representing $15B of impact.
A former Partner at McKinsey & Company, Jennifer co-founded the firm's 500-person global Design Practice and led its global Patient and HCP Experience work, partnering with healthcare providers, life sciences companies, and MedTech innovators to develop patient-centered solutions that improve outcomes and adoption. Her experience spans medical devices, digital health, diagnostics, and emerging technologies.
Earlier in her career, Jennifer held product and design leadership roles at Apple, IBM, Intuit, Meta (Facebook), and frog. She is an inventor on multiple patents and an international speaker on patient experience, human-centered design, and healthcare innovation, including invited engagements across India and around the world.
Jennifer is passionate about partnering with clinicians, researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs to bring meaningful healthcare innovations from idea to impact. She holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon and New York University and has lectured at Stanford, Parsons, and IIT.
